Sweet Potato Recipes - My Favorite

Sweet potato recipes are something that I have always wanted to try and introduce to everyone that get onto my website. This because I have my story with sweet potatoes. As I recall, when I was a child, I normally took a sweet potato with me and ate it while walking to school. I know it's incredible. But I guess I just love the sweetness that they have.

I recommend you to have a bite of raw sweet potato. This way, you will not only know what the difference that a raw one have against a cooked one, but you will also see what the sweetness would be like. I don't know why I don't eat them raw any more. Is it because of the soil in which they are growing which might be different from the soil of my hometown. Anyway, you can cook the sweet potatoes basically in three ways which are all simple.

The first one is toasting. However, this way the peel will be probably damaged if you don't manage the fire well. The inner peel covered by the red membrane at the surface and covering the inner meat of the sweet potato contains 70%-90% of the nutrition that the whole sweet potato contains. Toasted, you will have to peel the sweet potatoes in order to eat it. Then the most important part will be probably removed.

Fortunately, this problem is not an issue any more. On the side of the roads, there are still some meddlers standing with their stoves selling toasted sweet potatoes. This scene is great. Someone even designed some toasting machine, intending to put the toasting of sweet potatoes into scale economy.

The second one and the third are respectively rice porridge and steaming. They are both simple, too. You can find this and other sweet potato recipes by following the link at the beginning of this article.
